I Have A Skinny Spirit

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
2 Timothy 1:7
No matter how hard I tried to lose weight, I seemed to gain. This has been going on for a few weeks now and I was starting to think I'll never lose the weight I need to lose.

The voice of fear crept in.

Maybe I'm getting too old to lose weight, they say the older you get the harder it is. Maybe since I'm a woman and at "that age" I should just give up. I've heard women during this time in their lives don't lose the weight.

Something else that scared me was knowing I was letting you all down. If I can't lose this weight than how can I tell you to trust God to help you lose the weight? Well, I can trust God. I can lose the weight.

God did not give me these fears and doubts. So I knew I needed to take a stand, yes I admit I'm just now standing up, against such thoughts. But, I am facing these fears and if you are going through the same thing (fear) then you can, too.

How?

1. Refuse to listen to the voice of fear.
2. Tell yourself, I am a child of God and He wants me to have power, love and a sound mind.
3. Keep doing whatever diet or lifestyle God has placed on your heart.
4. And, Believe you have A Skinny Spirit!
